Pregnancy, Parenting & Adoption
Our centres provide diagnostic, urine pregnancy tests free of charge. Results are given quickly in a private, confidential manner. We also offer recreational ultrasounds to clients wanting one. A recreational ultrasound is not medical in nature. We cannot provide confirmation of dates, tell you baby’s gender, or check for abnormalities but you can see your baby and hear their heartbeat.
Our support workers are available throughout your pregnancy to provide emotional support, talk through any questions or concerns and help you prepare for baby. We can also help connect you with additional community resources as needed. If you’re facing financial challenges, we can help there too!

Becoming a parent can be a beautiful and sometimes challenging journey. We want you to have the support you need every step of the way. Your support worker will provide ongoing emotional support, connection with community resources, and access to our Baby Boutique for those who qualify. Proof of low income is required.
Clients who qualify can access our Baby Boutique once a month until their child is two years old. Our Baby Boutique offers diapers, wipes, formula, baby clothes, car seats, strollers, swings, and so much more!
You have likely heard the expression, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Our centres offer a variety of supports including Prenatal Classes, Breastfeeding Support, Labour and Delivery classes, and Mom’s Group. Connect with your local centre to learn about offerings in your area.
Adoption is one option to consider if you find yourself unable to parent at this point in your life. Parenting is a big responsibility, and we understand that many factors in life can make you feel like you’re not ready. If you have questions about or are considering making an adoption plan, we can help you get all your questions answered. We currently partner with Sunrise Family Services and can help connect you with an adoption support worker. Whether or not you decide to place your child for adoption, we will be there for you every step of the way.
